Design Systems at Scale: Gradient Frameworks & Accessibility Matrices for Inclusive Digital Branding
Discover how Appscenture integrates dynamic gradient systems and WCAG-compliant accessibility matrices into scalable design systems—enabling creative flexibility, visual consistency, and inclusive user experiences across platforms.

Free-Form Gradient System
As part of the brand evolution, we extended the core color palette into a free-form gradient system—designed to provide greater visual depth and expressive range beyond static or flat colors.
Unlike conventional linear gradients, our approach uses organic, non-linear transitions that convey motion, energy, and adaptability. This system reflects the dynamic nature of the brand while offering designers a high degree of creative flexibility—without compromising visual consistency or scalability across platforms.
The gradient framework is fully integrated into the design system, making it reusable across digital interfaces, marketing materials, and motion assets.
Web Accessibility Matrix
To support inclusive design, we delivered a comprehensive web accessibility matrix—providing clear guidance on color usage to meet and maintain WCAG 2.1 AAA-level contrast standards.
This matrix enables design and development teams to make informed decisions quickly, ensuring visual clarity and readability for all users, including those with visual impairments.
The matrix includes:
- Approved color pairings that meet AAA-level contrast for body text and interactive elements.
- Conditional combinations suitable for large headlines or non-critical graphics, still adhering to accessibility standards.
- Non-compliant combinations flagged clearly to prevent usability and compliance issues in production.
Fully integrated into the design system documentation, this tool helps ensure accessibility is built into every stage of the digital product lifecycle—from concept to code.
